Milkman’s article offers a lot of information about immigration. As we know, immigration is made for many reasons including economic, political, family re-unification, natural disaster, poverty or the wish to change one's surroundings voluntarily. Additionally, immigrants come from all over Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin and Central America and also ironically from North America, particularly Mexico. In this article, Milkman shows us that immigrants are interesting in labor and consequently, immigrant workers have a better behavior in the work environment. It is also for that reason most immigrant workers would voluntarily or involuntarily take any low paying job and later on grow within the organization. Furthermore, whether or not they have the ability to vote, immigrants affect greatly politics decisions by their involvements in many activities such as street protests, endorsement of a candidate, broadcasting, etc... Milkman also suggests in this article that immigrant workers are more “organizable” in the work place than their U.S. born counterparts.
Milkman offers in this article a large and unbiased view about immigration which can be a very touchy subject. Through this article, we have explored the paths of the immigrants and their relentless efforts to succeed in a new country. This article is a great source for researchers from all categories. The author wanted to show how immigrant is organizable and how they can succeeded in life.
I personally think that this article is very useful. While articles about the negative aspect of immigration over pour our library and the internet, this one stands out for its clarity and truthfulness of the information and facts that Milkman shares with the readers. With Milkman’s very objective work, we can certainly agree that America is a place for immigrants to succeed.

The article of David Cole, “Five Myths about Immigration” shows the five most common myths about immigrants. David Cole begins with “America is being overrun with immigrants”. When comparing the actual calculations they were determined to be only 8 percent of the people in the United States in 1990 were from a foreign county. Most foreign people that come to the U.S. that end up staying illegally are students or visitors that do not go home or renew their visa. The second myth is “Immigrants take jobs from U.S. citizens”. The third myth is “Immigrants are a drain on society’s resources”. It is said in the article that immigrants are not a drain on assets because immigrants are deprived of all but a few social programs. The programs that they are eligible for include: education for children, emergency medical care and food stamps for women and children. If these basic needs were denied it would cost more in the long term in respects to unaddressed health issues. The fourth myth is “Aliens refuse to assimilate, and are depriving us of our cultural and political unity”. All immigrants have been considered aliens since Columbus first came ashore. When a generation has passed most of the traits that make them seem alien disappear. Finally, the fifth myth is “Noncitizen immigrants are not entitled to constitutional rights”. The author contends that the government does not recognize immigrants as human creatures and does not extend constitutional rights to them.
This article is very helpful for researching about immigration. The author gives lots of facts, studies and personal opinions to inform the readers. Unlike many other articles on this subject, this one essentially point out the negative aspect of immigration. Nevertheless, it remain a great source of information in terms of statistic data or information pertinent to subject matter, and last, but not the least, this article shows through intense research that immigration is disastrous for this country.
This article gives lots of opinions about negativity of immigration. It blends facts, research studies and personal opinions to convince the reader that immigration is not beneficial to the United States. I personally think immigrant is a good benefice for this country in the way of building the USA economy

This article is very useful. It gives the reader the opportunity to have a more balanced opinion about this immigration measure. This is also an article that tackles this controversial effort of the governor of Arizona by presenting the pro and cons of this action of the governors Jan Brewer.
I’ve particularly found this article very good and helpful to whosoever wants to have a better understanding about this illegal immigration battle that had opposed Arizona and the Supreme Court. It is written in a very clean style where even the young readers would be able to make a judgment last but not least , I love this article because it sheds light on this controversial subject, It helps me and the readers understand what had motivate the governor, and why supreme court had stood up t balance the issues.
